Georgian premiere of the first Lithuanian play Amerika Pirtyje (America in a Bathhouse) was presented in Georgia's capital Tbilisi, reports LETA/ELTA.

On May 2, Lithuania's Embassy in Georgia presented the premier of the first Lithuanian play written by playwright Antanas Vilkutaitis – Keturakis in Shota Rustaveli State Drama Theatre. The performance was given in the Georgian language.

After the performance Lithuania's Ambassador to Georgia Jonas Paslauskas noted the symbolic significance of this performance, as finally the comedy written by Keturakis was played in his native country.

The performance was directed by Linda Urbonaviciute, it was played by the actors from Rustaveli theatre.
