The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia refused the information published by Interfax as if Estonian refugees in Georgia have joined the German army and have travelled there in order to participate in military actions, writes EPL Online.

On Thursday Interfax wrote that according to Speaker of Georgian Parliament David Bakradze 50 Estonian volunteers in Georgia joined the German army.

Estonian ambassador in Georgia talked to the deputy minister of defence of Georgia, according to whom the information published by Interfax is not true.

“The Government of the Republic of Estonia has not sent any military units or any soldiers to Georgia to participate in military actions,” stated the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia.
