Other events in Baltic States

On August 7, the world-famous Spanish operatic tenor Placido Domingo will perform a concert in Riga, which will be his only performance in the Baltic States, as LETA learned from the concert producer Vladimirs Resetovs.

The concert will take place at the Mezaparks open-air stage; Domingo will be accompanied by a symphony orchestra.

Tickets for the concert will go on sale in the second week of March and will cost starting from LVL 25.

Domingo, born in 1941, made his opera debut in 1959 and has performed over 120 opera roles since. The Spanish singer gained world-wide recognition also with the project "The Three Tenors", together with José Carreras and Luciano Pavarotti.
