"Metallica" concert attended by 12,000 fans in Riga

BC, Riga, 19.04.2010.

12,000 fans turned out for Saturday's concert by the group "Metallica" at "Arena Riga", LETA was informed by a spokesman for the concert agency FBI.

The group were visiting Latvia as part of their "World Magnetic Tour 2010", and arrived from Copenhagen by coach and ferry, a 28-hour journey.

The group will now play a concert in Tallinn today before moving on to Vilnius for two shows there.
