"The European Commission will today publish the reports, suggesting that Ukraine and Georgia have fulfilled the requirements," Renaldas Vaisbrodas, adviser to Lithuania's President Dalia Grybauskaite, told BNS Lithuania.
After publishing of the European Commission's reports, the proposal will be considered by EU member-states and the European Parliament. The procedures may take about six months.
Ukraine and Georgia are part of the EU Eastern Partnership program. The program's other member, Moldova, secured visa-free travels in 2014.
