The Head of the Estonian Government said that Europe seems to be tired of constantly accepting new countries, but this is a trend that serves none's interests, writes LETA.

"The further expansion of the EU increases the security and welfare of the region, improves the competitiveness of the European Union and gives it more political influence in the world," said Ansip.

Bagis raised the issue of the visa dialogue between Turkey and the European Union.

"Turkey is the only applicant country whose citizens must clear all visa application formalities in order to gain entry to the European Union," said the Turkish Minister for European Union Affairs.

"We would like to see some progress here, which would lead to visa-free entry," noted Bagis.

Prime Minister said that Estonia supports the launch of a dialogue with Turkey about making the visa procedure easier.
