During the traditional annual meeting with children of Lithuanians living in Belarus, the head of the state stressed the important role of Lithuanian communities in Belarus in fostering the Lithuanian culture, preserving and respecting the language, customs and traditions, writes LETA/ELTA.
The Lithuanian president wished Lithuanian pupils to study well, to be curious, to seek knowledge and become good, honest and educated people.
"Christmas is a celebration of goodness. Be good, share warmth and kindness with your family. I wish you, your parents and teachers a beautiful and merry Christmas and a happy New Year," Grybauskaite said.
