Electricity prices grew by 8.6% in Estonia in August

Electricity prices in Estonia increased by 8.6% in August 2013, comparing to previous month, and reaching 43.66 euros per MWh, the Estonian energy company Eesti Energia said in a statement. In Finland, price increased by 17.4%, averaging at 43.47 euros per MWh, writes LETA.
The average price of Latvian and Lithuania bidding area increased by 4.4% to 51.31 euros per MWh.

Carbon permits price increasing during fourth consecutive months. German 2014 base energy contract month closing price was 36.8 euros per MWh. Coal price continuously decreasing, price closed at 82.8 dollars per tonne.
