Fortum acquired majority holding in Eesti Gaas

Fortum bought 33.66% of shares in Eesti Gaas (Estonian Gas) from E. ON Ruhrgas International GmbH and in the gas network operating company AS Võrguteenus Valdus, writes LETA/National Broadcasting.
Now Fortum owns 51.4% of both companies.
The transaction will have to be approved by relevant regulatory authorities. Fortum has estimated that the deal ought to be finalised in the third quarter of this year.
The two parties agreed not to disclose the price of the transaction.
