Plunksnis from Lithuanian to head supervisory board at Moldova's largest bank

Vytautas Plunksnis, the head of private equity at Lithuania's INVL Asset Management, has become the chairman of the supervisory board at Moldova-Agroindbank (MAIB), Moldova's largest commercial bank, informs LETA/BNS.
MAIB's shareholders elected the bank's new supervisory board on July 23, and appointed Plunksnis, a member of the board, as its chairman, the Lithuanian company said in a press release on Tuesday.
The bank has posted a net profit of 36.8 million euros for 2019 and a net profit of 14.8 million euros for the first half of 2020.
