Indrek Neivelt, the former chairperson of the Estonian Development Fund's supervisory board, said that Estonia shouldn't try to join the euro zone since currently it is too risky, BBN/LETA reported.

Still, the politicians stick the opposite opinion.
"If we adapt euro in 2011, the life won't improve in 2012, or in June of 2011, for instance," Neivelt said.
Former Ministers of Finance of Estonia, Aivar Soerd and Taavi Veskimagi, said that euro goal supports conservative monetary policy and gives positive signal to foreign investors.
Ivari Padar, the former Minister of Finance of Estonia, noted that the plan of joining euro can't be abandoned.
