"Riga Food" annual fair to take place in September

More than 380 companies from 32 countries have already confirmed their participation in the fair. "Riga Food 2011" will also feature national stands created by food producers from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Belarus, Denmark, Italy, Moldova, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Canada, France, Hungary and Poland, writes LETA.
One of the novelties this year will be the Gastronomic Festival, which will be held in a separate hall and present national cuisine of several countries as well as a number of other events.
Best butter, curds, kefir, bread and honey producers will also be honored at "Riga Food" this year.
The fair is organized by the international fair organization company BT1 in cooperation with Latvian Technological Center, Chefs' Club, Federation of Latvian Barmen, Diplomatic Economic Club – Latvia, and a number of foreign embassies.
Last year, 537 food producers from 39 countries participated in the "Riga Food" fair.
