"Riga Food 2014" fair opens in Kipsala

The international food, beverage, food processing, technology, packaging, public catering, hotel and restaurant equipment and service fair "Riga Food 2014" gets under way at the international exhibition center in Kipsala today, reports LETA/Nozare.lv.

Agriculture Minister Janis Duklavs, exhibition organization company BT1 CEO Viesturs Tile and "Riga Food 2014" project's head Rolands Nezborts will participate in the opening ceremony for the fair.

 

670 companies from forty countries participate in the fair this year. 327 participants in the fair represent Latvia, whereas the national stand of Latvia presents eighteen companies: Aloja Starkelsen, Anatols, Baltic Wild, Daugulis&Partneri, Dimdini, Felici, Kronis, Kurzemes galsaimnieks, Lat Eko Food, Milda KM, Mosenc, Puratos Latvia, Saldus Partikas kombinats, Siera razotne, Skriveru saldumi, Valezs, Vecsiljani and Vladas SP.

 

The fair will feature various competitions, contact exchange, shows, and much more. The fair will continue through September 7.
