First Pizza Hut restaurant in Latvia to open in Riga this week

The opening event will take place at noon on Wednesday, April 20.
In Zandersons' words, the Pizza Hut eaterie in Riga will be the only dine-in restaurant in the Baltics. The two-floor pizzeria will have more than 90 seats.
Pizza Hut offers traditional thick American pizzas, as well as salads, pastas and desserts.
"We have been operating in test mode for week already. The first client response is positive," Zandersons said.
Around EUR 1 million will be invested in the development of the Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) and Pizza Hut in Latvia, the KFC franchise owner in the Baltic countries Sigurdur Arnar Sigurdsson told LETA earlier.
The first KFC restaurant opened in Riga Old City on August 28, 2015.
KFC registered its trademark in Latvia already in 1992, according to information available on the Latvian Patent Office's website.
