Avg price of Tallinn apartments up 3.4% on year in November

Compared to October, the price declined 3.3%. The
median price of Tallinn apartments was 1,735 euros in November -- 3.4%
lower than in the previous month, but 2.6% higher than in November 2017.
During the month, 813 apartments in Tallinn changed hands
and the combined value of the transactions was 83.6 mln euros. In the same
month last year, transactions numbered 851 and their total value was 82.7 mln
euros. In October 2018, 937 transactions were made in Tallinn totaling 103.2 mln
euros.
Across Estonia, excluding Tallinn, the average price of
apartments climbed 10.9 % year on year to 768 euros per square meter. Compared
to the previous month, the average price saw a 0.4 % decrease.
The median price of apartments outside Tallinn
rose 20.6% on year to 617 euros and was up 2.7% compared to October
2018.
The number of transactions outside Tallinn
was 1,001 and the total value of the transactions was 47.7 mln euros.
In November 2017, apartments outside Tallinn changed hands in 1,057
transactions and the total value of the transactions was 43.9 mln euros.
Figures available from the Estonian Land Board may change
when data is adjusted.
