Lithuania launches national perfume
It said the scent is a good example of how to communicate Lithuania to the public in an innovative way, writes LETA/ELTA.
The perfume "Lithuania" is a blend of sandalwood, cedar and musk with the designer saying the smell of wood fires has been added, reminiscent of pagan rituals.
“We wanted to create something special to represent Lithuania Lithuanian and character, “said Mindaugas Stongvilas daily Vilniaus diene, emotional communication expert, who had the idea of the project. The scent will be rolled out to Lithuanian embassies, hotels and airports and scented candles will go on sale next month.
Creating a perfume French house Galimard been entrusted. The first thousand bottles was produced for the amount of 28,900 euros.
Lithuanian soldiers in Afghanistan have also received the perfume.
Currently under design is a full line of products.
