Passenger turnover at Airport "Riga" increased by 16.5% in May

Print versionIn May 2011, International Airport "Riga" serviced a total of 478,373 passengers, which is 16.5% more when compared to May 2010, the business information portal Nozare.lv was informed by the airport.

Cargo turnover at the airport increased 12% in May, compared to the same month last year. The airport also saw a nine% increase in the number of airplanes serviced last month, writes LETA.
So far this year, the airport has serviced 1.852 million passengers, which is 14.3% more when compared to the first five months of 2010.
