Lufthansa to double flights between Riga and Frankfurt

Print versionStarting from the 2012 summer season, German airline Lufthansa will double the number of flights between Riga and Frankfurt, the airline informed.

At the moment, Lufthansa flies between Riga and Frankfurt once a day, which will be increased to two flights per day from March 25, 2012.
There will be two flights per day leaving from Riga – at 8:05 a.m. and 14:15 p.m.
There will also be two flights per day leaving from Frankfurt – at 10:30 a.m. (local time) and 8:50 p.m., reports LETA.
Lufthansa has been flying to Riga International Airport for the past 20 years, and reached record passenger numbers in 2010 – 70,000 passengers.
