Tallinn's chef succeeds at international cooking competition

Head chef Heidy Pinnak of Egoist restaurant in Tallinn came to 14th place at the worldwide professional cooking competition Bocuse d'Or, LETA/Tallinn.ee reports.

The Estonian team served Irish beef sirloin, halibut and lobster. Local produce included potatoes, Vana Tallinn (Old Tallinn) liquor, quail eggs, rye bread, juniper berries and pine shoots.

 

A total of 24 countries which took part of the final competition at Lyon.
