Crop protection retailer Baltic Agro increased turnover by 62% to LVL 84.01 million last year, according to information from Firmas.lv. In 2011, the company achieved LVL 51.56 million in turnover, informs LETA/Nozare.lv.

The company posted LVL 1.58 million in profit in 2012, compared to LVL 1.3 million in profit in 2011.
Baltic Agro sells fertilizers, crop protection materials, seeds, products for livestock, and provides services for agricultural land-owners.
Baltic Agro was established in 2004 in Riga and currently employs 62 persons.
90% of Baltic Agro shares are owned by the Danish registered joint-stock company Baltic Agro Holding, with the other 10% of shares owned by the Finnish company Yara Suomi Oy.
