Increased interest from foreigners in downtown Riga apartments

Print versionThe Ober-Haus real estate company reports unusually great interest in the purchase of centrally-located apartment space in Riga this past July. On the other hand, local interest was minimal, but this is explained by many being on summer holiday, reported LETA/Nozare.lv.

Ober-Haus notes that July was highly active in the foreign client segment, with most being from Lithuania, Belgium and CIS countries. Furthermore, these buyers are seeking top quality (i.e. expensive) apartments for prices up to EUR 200,000.
Ober-Haus points out that the foreigner also looks at location, infrastructure and vicinity of schools, kindergartens and day care centers.
