Rimi Baltic turnover grew by 5.2% in Q4

Retail trade company Rimi Baltic turned over EUR 322 million in the fourth quarter of 2013, a 5.2% increase on the respective period in 2012, according to an announcement by Rimi Baltic parent company ICA Gruppen, cites LETA.

Rimi Baltic turnover grew mostly thanks to the company's successful operations in Latvia and Lithuania.
Rimi Baltic achieved EUR 1.2 billion in turnover in 2013, a 3.5% increase on 2012.
In Latvia, Rimi sales reached EUR 164 million in the fourth quarter of 2013 (excluding VAT), a 7.2% increase on the corresponding period in 2012.
In Lithuania, Rimi sales grew 6.7% and amounted to EUR 60 million. In Estonia, the company's sales rose 0.9% and constituted EUR 94 million.
Compared to 2012, Rimi turnover grew 6% and amounted to EUR 609 million in Latvia in 2013. In Estonia, the company's turnover rose 0.5% to EUR 361 million. In Lithuania, Rimi turnover grew 1.4% to EUR 217 million.
