"This barge is at the fish
farming market already in the next generation of steel barges due to bigger
fodder storage capacity and higher level of crew accommodation," said BLRT Group Board Member Mark Berman.
The barge, built for Norwegian
company AKVA Group, is 40 metres long,
12 metres wide and accommodates 850 tonnes of fodder.
Over the past ten years, BLRT Group specialists have built over
250 fish farming barges for fish industries in many states. Around 100 of them
have been ordered by AKVA Group.
