The heads of both governments have signed an agreement on further development of bilateral relations.
Lithuanian PM Andrius Kubilius said that the study on Lithuanian and Latvian cooperation prospects, presented during the meeting, will be yet another important tool to improve bilateral relations of the two countries.
"It will be very important to implement all measures provided in this document. We expect it to become strong impetus in looking for and finding new ways of cooperation. Having signed the document, we will move on to implementing the cooperation measures," Kubilius said.
The Lithuanian and Latvian prime ministers will also discuss energy issues and the Visaginas nuclear power plant project.
