Date set for next local elections in Latvia

Print versionThe Central Election Commission confirmed to LETA that the date for the next municipal/regional elections in Latvia will be June 1, 2013, and this is according to the law.

The law on local elections states that they are held in the according year's "first Saturday in June", reported LETA.
