For the first time, a Latvian advertising agency has been awarded in the prestige advertising festival "Cannes Lions". Agency "!MOOZ" received a Silver Lion for the creative design of the campaign "Organ donors", organized by the Road Traffic Safety Department (CSDD).

"Cannes Lions" is the world's largest and most influential advertising festival, which takes place for the 55th time and is an equivalent of "Oscar" Academy Awards in cinema or "Grammy" awards in music industry, LETA was informed by Egle Klekere, director of the public relations enterprise Deep White.

Altogether, there were 28,000 works from 85 countries submitted to "Cannes Lions" festival this year. Receiving the silver award in the "Direct Lion" category is the best achievement of Latvian advertising agencies so far. Along with the nominations, which were received two years ago, !MOOZ has become the most award-winning advertising agency in the Baltic States.

Campaign "Organ donors" was aimed at aggressive drivers, to make them look at death from a different perspective. During the campaign, along with advertisements, broadcast on television, radio and press, police was offering the reckless drivers to sign an "organ donor ID". At the same time, the campaign raised the organ donor issue in Latvia.

Last year !MOOZ became also the first advertising agency in the Eastern Europe to open a branch in Western Europe – in Berlin.

The agency has received awards in more than 60 advertising festivals. It works with such brands as Mitsubishi, Latvijas Krajbanka, Sky&More, Saliena, Latvijas Valsts meþi, Lido, Magdelenas nami etc..
