Cider "Fizz" was the second most popular alcoholic beverage, and vodka "3 graudu" was in third place, informs LETA.

Alcoholic cocktail "Dins" was ranked fourth according to sales volumes, followed by brandy "Bonaparte" and sparkling wine "Rigas sampanietis".

Vodka "Mernaja" is the seventh most popular alcoholic beverage in Latvia, vodka "Katjusha" is eighth, sparkling wine "Svetskoje" ninth and vodka "Latvijas originalais" tenth.

According to the Revenue Service's data, "Euro" by the joint-stock Aldaris was the second most popular beer brand in Latvia in the first quarter, followed by the same producer's "Apinitis stiprais" and "Apinitis".

Another Aldaris beer – "Pilzenes" – was the next most popular beer brand in the first quarter, followed by "Cesu Light" and "Cuba" from Cesu alus, "Walter", and "Lacplesis" from Cido grupa.
