Maxima: Favorite Latvia-made food product is sweet cheese curd "Karums"

Print versionAccording to a recent survey conducted by Maxima Latvija, grocery shopperS name as their favorite Latvia-made food products the sweet cheese curd "Karums", the cake "Cielavina" and the spreadable cheese "Dzintars".

24 percent or 1,000 people voted for "Karums" as the best product.
Also in the Top Ten are "Talsu ritulis" cheese, fried lamprey in aspic, poultry farm "Kekava's" chicken, "Laci" baked goods company's carrot bread, the chocolate bar "Serenade", "Pols" ice cream and Latvia-grown potatoes.
The survey was conducted November 4-14, with almost 4,000 people responding.
