Estonian homeware goods chain Koduekstra buys Novalux stores

Homeware goods store chain Koduekstra intends to buy the stores of Novalux that sell similar goods, LETA/Postimees Online reports. Initially the two chains continue under their different trademarks.
Koduekstra OÜ and Novalux AS signed a sales-purchase contract on March 4, according to which Koduekstra OÜ buys all nine Novalux stores, announced Koduekstra OÜ.
The Competition Board has to grant its approval to the deal. "For Koduekstra it is an excellent chance of growing and expanding our store network. Initially we continue with both Koduekstra and Novalux brands," said Koduekstra council chairman Mart Relve.
Koduekstra has 21 stores across Estonia and the company belong to Finnish and Estonian capital. Novalux is a subsidiary of Novest Holding AS, which belongs to Dutch capital.
