Prisma Latvija increases turnover and losses in 2013

Finnish supermarket chain Prisma subsidiary in Latvia Prisma Latvija increased its turnover and losses in 2013, according to information provided by Firmas.lv, cites LETA/Nozare.lv.
The company's turnover in 2013 was EUR 48.75 million, which is 40% more than in 2012, when the turnover was EUR 34.92 million. Meanwhile, the company's losses have grown by 52.3% – from EUR 8.04 million in 2012 to EUR 12.25 million in 2013.
2013 marked seven years since Prisma Latvija started operating in Latvia. Last year, Prisma Latvija opened two new supermarkets, which facilitated an increase both in turnover and losses.
Prisma Latvija was founded in 2006. Its share capital is EUR 5,150,800. The company belongs to Finland-registered S Group.
