The total number of real estate transactions in Tallinn rose 18.2% to 1,145.
1Partner Kinnisvara Executive Director Martin Vahter says that the increase in the number of transactions clearly shows that people feel about the future of Estonia and the economic stability in a positive way.
"Currently, a lot of apartments are bought like for a personal pension fund. Although there are many asset classes to invest in, a lot of people choose rather real estate, because they understand this best, "said Vahter.
Tallinn apartment transactions activity grew in a month by 7.3 and total cost 14.6%. The most expensive apartment was sold for 745,000 and the cheapest for 810 euros.
In March, 33 properties with buildings on them were sold in Tallinn, which is by nine more than in the previous month. The most expensive house was sold for 700,000 and the cheapest for 50,000 euros.
In March, 14 plots were sold, which is six more than in February. The most expensive plot was sold for 8.8 million, and the cheapest for 34,000 euros.
