Tallinn apartment prices rise 2% in January y-o-y

Print versionThe average price per square meter of apartments in Tallinn in January 2016 was 1,563 euros, 2% higher than the year before, it appears from statistics of the Estonian Land Board, informs LETA/BNS.

The number of transactions with Tallinn apartments concluded during the month was 549, up from 532 in January 2015. The aggregate value of such transactions was 46.3 million euros, roughly as much as in January 2015.
The size of the biggest individual transaction was 1.3 million euros, more than double the value of the biggest transaction concluded in January 2015.
The average price of apartments outside Tallinn grew by almost 3% to 604 euros per square meter. The number of transactions concluded was 715 and their total value 24.8 million euros in January.
