Price for pre-renovated apartments in Riga increased by 2% in December

Small one- and two-room apartments are the ones for which prices continue to increase, Ober Haus/LETA informs. A pre-renovated one-room apartment cost EUR 543 per square meter on the average in December, a 3.9% increase on November, and a pre-renovated two-room apartment – EUR 492 per square meter – a 2.8% increase.
The highest apartment prices were recorded in Teika and Purvciems neighborhoods – EUR 600 and EUR 530 per square meter, respectively. Lower prices were registered in Bolderaja (EUR 391), Vecmilgravis (EUR 422) and Sarkandaugava (EUR 463 per square meter).
In the meantime, the number of apartments for sale continued to decrease in December.
On the other hand, the prices for apartments in new buildings remained unchanged, Ober Haus informs. In downtown Riga, such apartments cost EUR 1100 to EUR 1800 per square meter, and in Riga neighborhoods – EUR 800 to EUR 1200 per square meter.
