Knight Frank: Latvia records biggest house price increase in Q3

House prices in Latvia increased by 26.3% in the third quarter of 2010 year-on-year, which is the fastest increase across all countries surveyed in British property company Knight Frank's global house price index.

Before the third quarter, Latvia was last in the index for several quarters in a row, reporting steepest house price falls, writes LETA.
Second biggest house price increase in the third quarter, compared to the same period last year, was recorded in Hong Kong – 21.3%, and third in China (Beijing and Shanghai) – 21.1%.
Largest house price decreases were registered in Ireland – 14.8%, Lithuania – 13.9%, and Ukraine – 12.6%.
Estonia is not included in the Knight Frank index.
