In August record number of apartments sold in Lithuania

Print versionA record breaking volume of apartment sales was recorded in August 2012. According to preliminary data, the last month around 2,200 of block apartments were purchased in Lithuania. The last time such volume of sales was recorded in October 2008.

According to preliminary data, over 8,500 of real estate contracts were signed, about 4.5% more than in July, when 8,140 immovable objects were sold, writes LETA/ELTA.
In August the highest number of purchase was recorded in the block apartments market since the real estate crisis.
