Estonian national carrier Estonian Air hands over an Embraer plane that it no longer needs to the new Air Lituanica company of Lithuanians on Tuesday, LETA/Eesti Päevaleht writes.
Air Lituanica, that was founded by the Vilnius city government and businessmen, wants to see the 76-seat Embraer 170 in the Vilnius airport by the end of June. The plane will most likely lose the Estonian colours and will be repainted.
Air Lituanica wants to launch flights to Europe in July latest and has leased another Embraer, a 88-seat Embraer 175 from the plant too.
