BC, Tallinn, 25.08.2020.Print version
An expansion in July and August of the area where the delivery service of the e-store of retailer Rimi is available in Harju County increased the covered area to nearly 80 percent of the territory of the county that includes Tallinn, the capital city of Estonia, informs LETA/BNS.

Rimi now offers the home delivery service in the Harju County areas of Kloogarand, Keila, Keila-Joa, Aasmae, Kaberneeme, Saue, Saku, Luige, Juri, Tabasalu and Viimsi, among others.

"We have made a lot of effort to put Rimi in an equal position in competition in terms of the e-store delivery area with the chains that have operated an e-store already for years," Helen Lednei, head of e-commerce at Rimi Estonia, said in a press release.

The next region that Rimi's e-store will expand to is Tartu.

"We wish to reach Tartu definitely already this year, and in addition to the home delivery service there will be also a Rimi Drive area in Tartu, which means that the goods ordered will be put directly in the luggage compartment of the customer's vehicle," Lednei said.

Rimi Eesti Food AS is a company of Rimi Baltic AB group, the sole owner of which is ICA Gruppen AB of Sweden.
