Two more confirmed coronavirus cases in Latvia; both returned from Italy

Print versionTwo more cases have been confirmed in Latvia of persons infected with the Covid-19 coronavirus, and both have recently returned from a trip to Italy, bringing the total number of cases in the country to eight, according to the Center for Disease Prevention and Control, informed LETA.

Both persons returned to Latvia from northern Italy on March 7.
So far, 274 persons have been checked for the coronavirus in Latvia, of which 30 within the past 24 hours.
