Estonia: Avg price of Tallinn apartments grows to EUR 2,170 per square meter in December

Compared with November, the average price per square meter
rose 5.3%. The median price per square meter of apartments in the capital
city grew 14.8% on year to 2,146.84 euros, while the m-o-m increase was 9.4%. Altogether
770 transactions worth 101.6 mln euros were carried out in Tallinn, figures
available from the Land Board show.
In December 2018, altogether 759 transactions worth 88.6 mln
euros were carried out in Tallinn.
Across Estonia, excluding Tallinn, the average
price per square meter of apartments declined 0.4% to 879.04 euros in
December, up 5.4% from November.
The median price per square meter was 697.28 euros, 14.3%
lower than the year before. Compared with November 2019, the median price fell
1.3%.
The number of transactions outside Tallinn was 829 and the
total value of the transactions was 44.1 mln euros in December, while
transactions numbered 1,117 and the total value of them amounted to 56.7 mln
euros the month before. In December 2018, the number of transactions outside
Tallinn was 919 and the total value of the transactions amounted to 51.8 mln
euros.
Figures available from the Estonian Land Board may change
when data is adjusted.
