ICG Kompiuteriai suspends its activities in Lithuania
All 18 ICG Kompiuteriai stores will be closed by the end of September. Authorized technical centres will take over after sale services for clients of ICG Kompiuteriai, informs ELTA/LET.
According to Jurgis Gylys, executive director of Innovation Computer Group, the market for trade in digital techniques has dropped around 40 percent since the beginning of this year.
Presently, Innovation Computer Group employs 159 people, 55 out of which in retail trade business. At the beginning of 2009, 209 employees were working in the company.
As reported, on July 31, all 11 BMS Megapolis retail trade centers and 7 Optimalus Kompiuteriai stores closed in seven Lithuanian cities. Such a decision was made in order to avoid increasing problems in financing and striving to ensure commitments to employees, clients and creditors.
