Print versionLatvian 3x3 basketball team Riga, made up of Nauris Miezis, Karlis Lasmanis, Agnis Cavars and Edgars Krumins, on Saturday placed first at the World Tour Final in Saudi Arabia, informs LETA.
In the final game, Riga beat Serbia's Liman 21:20.
Lasmanis hit the winning-two pointer with less than five seconds to go.
In the semifinals, Riga defeated Novi Sad (Serbia) 18:15, while Liman beat Utena (Lithuania) 21:13.
Twelve highest-ranked FIBA World Tour teams participated in the final tournament.
