The international ratings agency maintains Lithuania's long-term credit
rating at A- and its short-term rating at A-2.
S&P said that the
revised outlook reflected its "expectation that Lithuania's economy will
post strong balanced growth over the medium term, driven by converging wages,
EU fund inflows, and a reorientation of exports toward higher-value-added
sectors".
The last time the agency had upgraded its outlook on Lithuania's rating was
in October 2013.
