Latvia's richest woman – Anna Lipmane

Latvia's richest woman is the pharmaceutical company Grindex shareholder Anna Lipmane, according to a list of Latvia's 100 richest women published in the latest edition of the "VIP Lounge" magazine.

According to "VIP Lounge", Lipmane owns Grindex shares that are worth LVL 22 million, informs LETA.

 

Second on the list is Ludmila Kaca, co-owner of the companies Triatels and Telekom Baltija, who has an estimated worth of LVL 13 million, and third is Kristiana Libane-Skele with LVL 10 million, who appeared on the list after she married MP Andris Skele (For A Good Latvia).

 

Two other members of the Skele family are also on the list, while the remaining places in top ten are held by Lada Duhovnaja, co-owner of the company Alpha Osta, another transit sector businesswoman Tatjana Omelcenko, Tatjana Kargina, former Parex banka co-owner and ex-wife of Valerijs Kargins, and Alla Moroza, co-owner of Viada petrol stations.

 

Three years ago, the total worth of the 10 richest Latvian women was LVL 211 million, while in 2009 the figure dropped to LVL 105 million, with a further decrease to LVL 76 million in 2010. This year, the total worth of richest Latvian women has significantly increased and reached LVL 100 million, indicate the compilers of the list – "Baltic Screen".
