The bank Danske in Lithuania again urges residents to refinance mortgage taken earlier at other banks and promises better terms and conditions.

At the beginning of March 2008, the bank addressed the people, who had taken mortgage a few years ago, and invited them to use the opportunity to decrease the monthly payment of mortgage. During this campaign, 2,000 individuals also received the alarm clocks of classical design, informs ELTA.

According to Darius Jasinskas, head of the product management of the Danske bank, the persons having taken mortgage were interested in the improvement of its terms and conditions, and two thirds of them refinanced their mortgage.

The better terms and conditions might include lesser margin, other currency of mortgage or deadline, different method of credit return and etc. When refinancing credit, there is a great opportunity to change other terms and conditions of crediting as well, such as currency or deadline of payment, which would cost at other banks.

It will not be required to make not only such payment, but also the payment of property insurance for the first six months of the year at the Danske bank. Moreover, the bank will insure the internal property of the client for the first six months of the year.
