Estonia is on the 25th position in tourism competition list; ahead of Latvia and Lithuania

The Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Report 2011 lists Estonia after Cyprus and is followed by Malta and Italy. The top positions in the list went to Switzerland, Germany and France, informs LETA.

The World Economic Forum together with the Air Transport Association (IATA), The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) compiles the list every two years.
The list takes into consideration such factors as policy rules and regulations, environmental sustainability, safety and security, health and hygiene, prioritization of travel & tourism (T&T), air transport infrastructure, ground transport infrastructure, tourism infrastructure, ICT infrastructure, price competitiveness in the T&T industry, human resources, affinity for Travel & Tourism, natural resources, and cultural resources.
