“Aldara Luksus” beer is another popular present preferred by travellers from Latvia, as the joint-stock company Aldaris representative Gints Lazdins told BC. Young people with high incomes named “Aldara Luksus” as their number one choice, Lagzdins said.

In the overall ranking of most popular presents from Latvia, “Aldara Luksus” placed fourth with 16% of the vote.

During the survey, TNS Latvia interviewed 504 travellers from Latvia aged 15 to 74; 35% of respondents they had been abroad over the past twelve months.

The respondents were asked to evaluate nine popular food products and beverages from different product groups: “Laima” chocolates, “Riga Black Balsam”, “Laci” rye bread, “Riga Sprats”, “Liepaja Coffee”, “Aldara Luksus” beer, Trikatas siers cheese, Rigas miesnieks meat products, “Adazu cipsi” potato chips.
