On June 8 the premiere of Urmas Sisaks’s latest score “Veni Creator Spiritus” will take place in London on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Republic of Estonia, writes EPL Online.

The work will be performed by ETV’s girls’ choir, Royal College of Music JD Chamber Choir and individual instrumentalists.

The last event of the series of concerts on the occasion of the anniversary of the Republic of Estonia, a concert in the St Paul church in Knightsbridge will be conducted by Aarne Saluveer and by Joy Hill.

The project “A Present from a Musical State” was created for celebrating the 90th anniversary in the countries which have played an important role in Estonia becoming independent and regaining its independence. The “musical presents” were works commissioned from different Estonian composers which Estonia gave to five countries in the form of a concert as well as in the form of sheet music.

The musical presents had already been given to Iceland, Denmark, Finland and Sweden. The concert in London will finish the series.
