On October 18, pop-singer Christina Aguilera will perform her only concert in the Baltic States in Riga, as concert organizers "Baltic Music Promotions Latvija's" representative Kristine Tjarve informed LETA.

The 27-year old Auguilera has won five ''Grammys'' and is one of the most recognized popular music stars worldwide. Being a singer, text author, performer and producer, Auguilera is also one of the most critically acclaimed musicians of popular music to ever perform in the Baltic region.

Aguilera has sold over 15 million albums and four of her singles have made it to the top positions at the "Billboard Top 100" chart.

Aguilera's last album was launched two years ago and has received many praises from critics since. The album "Back to Basics" features not only pop music, but also jazz and soul music melodies, with the most popular song of the album being "Ain't No Other Man".

Tickets to Aguilera's concert in Riga will go on sale at 10 a.m. on August 15, at the same time, in all the three of the Baltic States. In Latvia, the tickets will be available for purchase at all "Bilesu serviss" outlets, as well as at "Statoil" gas filling stations.
