Canadian rock band Nickelback which will be touring Europe in fall this year will play its only show in the Baltics in Kaunas, Lithuania, FBI promoters told LETA.

Nickelback, one of the most commercially successful Canadian groups, will play in Zalgiris Arena in Kaunas on September 10. The warm-up act will be another Canadian rock band, Monster Truck.

Nickelback will be playing in more than 30 cities during its European tour, which will start in Helsinki, Finland, on September 2 and will end at Newcastle Arena, Newcastle, UK, on October 25.

"Get ready Europe, we are bringing one hell of a loud party to our fans over there!" says the band’s lead singer and guitarist, Chad Kroeger.

Nickelback is one of the most commercially successful Canadian groups, having sold more than 50 million albums worldwide and ranking as the eleventh best-selling music act, and the second best-selling foreign act in the U.S. of the 2000s, behind The Beatles. Billboard ranks them the most successful rock group of the decade; their song "How You Remind Me" was listed as the best-selling rock song of the decade and the fourth best-selling of the decade.

Tickets to the Nickelback show in Kaunas will go on sale in Latvia next week through Bilesuserviss ticket distributor.
