Gulbis knocked out of Winston-Salem ATP

Print versionOn Monday, Latvia's top ranked men's tennis player Ernests Gulbis lost to Hungary's Marton Fucsovics 6-7, 2-6 in the opening round of the Winston-Salem
ATP 250 series tennis tournament, cites LETA.
At the moment Gulbis is ranked 257th in the ATP rankings, while Fucsovics
is ranked 122nd.
Gulbis has not earned any ATP ranking points in the Winston-Salem
tournament, which is the final tournament before this year's U.S. Open Grand
Slam tennis tournament.
